Your Vendor profile can be presented on both CanceledWeddings.com and Orystra.
You maintain one underlying Vendor profile. You do not need to create and maintain a separate Orystra profile.
The public profile vanity handle you choose becomes the identifying part of your public Vendor URL on both brands.
For example:
https://orystra.com/vendor/your-business-name
The Orystra version gives your business a neutral, brand-safe profile URL that you can share independently of the CanceledWeddings.com marketplace context.
Where do I choose my Orystra URL?
In the Vendor Dashboard, open Settings. The Your Business profile page is displayed there.
You can also use the Vendor avatar in the upper-left corner as a shortcut to the same Your Business profile area.
If you are creating a new Vendor, the Your public profile vanity handle field appears in the business-profile form.
If the Vendor already exists, choose Edit Vendor to review or update the profile information available to you.
What should I use as my handle?
Use the actual name of your Vendor business or a clear, recognizable variation of it.
The purpose of the handle is to identify the business ā not to act as an SEO keyword field.
Do not try to reserve a generic category, broad location term or keyword-rich phrase simply because it might look attractive in a URL. There is no meaningful SEO advantage in doing that here, and such a handle is likely to fail Orystra's later review.
Orystra may remove handles that are unsuitable, misleading, overly generic, keyword-stuffed or inconsistent with the business they claim to represent. A removed handle may also be placed on a blocked or reserved list so it cannot be claimed again.
How do I check whether the handle is available?
Enter the handle you want in Your public profile vanity handle.
Then select Check availability.
If the handle is available, the page confirms this and you can continue.
If it is already taken, choose another clear variation of your actual business name and check again.
For example, if Dream Weddings is already taken and that is your real business name, you could try Dream Weddings Texas or a more specific variation such as Dream Weddings Austin Texas.
If Check availability stays disabled
The current interface may sometimes wait until you leave the input field before it recognizes the value.
If Check availability does not activate immediately after typing, click once anywhere outside the field and then try again.
When is the URL created?
When the required Vendor information is complete, the handle is available, and you select Create, the Vendor profile is created.
The same handle is then used for the public Vendor profile on CanceledWeddings.com and Orystra.
For a newly created Vendor, you must also validate the Company Primary Email using the validation email sent automatically after Create.
The validation link is valid for 1 day.
Why use the Orystra version of my profile?
CanceledWeddings.com presents your Vendor business in the context of cancellation and transfer opportunities.
Orystra presents the same Vendor identity in a more neutral professional context.
That makes the Orystra URL particularly useful when you want to share:
your Vendor identity and contact information;
platform reviews;
current opportunities involving your business;
Late Availability that you choose to publish.
Your own website remains the main home for your full service offering, normal pricing and regular sales activity.
The Orystra profile is not intended to replace your website.
It provides a separate identity, trust and current-opportunity layer that can be useful when you want to make time-sensitive opportunities visible without turning them into your normal website pricing or positioning.
Do I need a separate profile for CanceledWeddings.com and Orystra?
No.
The underlying Vendor profile is the same.
Changes to your core Vendor profile are maintained once and used by the platform across the relevant public profile surfaces.
What if my preferred handle is already taken?
Do not create a duplicate Vendor profile just to obtain a different handle.
If the business already has a Vendor profile, keep using that canonical Vendor profile.
Choose an available variation that still clearly represents the actual business.
If you believe an existing handle incorrectly represents your business or there is an ownership problem, contact Help & Support rather than creating another Vendor.
