How do I complete and manage my Vendor business profile?

Your Vendor business profile contains two kinds of information:

Written by Petr Ulrich

Your Vendor business profile contains two kinds of information:

  • your official business identity and contact details; and

  • the information used to present the Vendor publicly on CanceledWeddings.com and Orystra.

Use accurate business information. Some fields can be used in transfer and contracting documents, while others appear on your public Vendor profile.

Where do I manage my Vendor profile?

In the Vendor Dashboard, open Settings. The page shown there is Your Business profile — it is not another navigation step beneath Settings.

You can also click the Vendor avatar in the upper-left corner as a shortcut to the same Your Business profile page.

Under Managed business entities, you can:

  • see all Vendors managed by your user account;

  • choose Act as this vendor to switch the current Vendor context;

  • choose Edit Vendor to update an existing Vendor;

  • add another Vendor through Activate new business entity;

  • delete a Vendor only while deletion is still allowed.

Company business name

Enter the official name under which the Vendor contracts with clients.

For a company, include the correct legal name and suffix where applicable, such as Ltd, Inc., GmbH or the local equivalent.

If you are an individual or sole trader without a separate company, use the name under which you legally contract with clients.

Use your real contracting identity rather than a marketing description. This information may appear in transfer and contracting documents.

Headquarters address

Enter the Vendor's official business or contracting address.

Use the address that belongs on contracts and business documents — not the address of an event venue or service location unless that genuinely is your headquarters or contracting address.

The address field uses location suggestions to help you select a real address.

Company Tax ID

Enter your business tax or registration identifier if applicable.

If your business does not have one, leave it empty where the form allows.

Official Company phone

Enter the official business phone number, including the country code.

Company website

Enter the full website address, including https://.

Company Primary Email

The Company Primary Email is the main official email used to identify your Vendor business on the platform.

Use a stable address controlled by the business.

If the field was prefilled from a Seller invitation, you can change it to the correct official business email before creating the Vendor.

Do not create a second Vendor profile simply because a Seller used another email address for the same business.

Company Secondary Emails

Secondary emails are other addresses under which Sellers may know or recognize the same business.

Enter multiple addresses separated by commas.

A complete and accurate collection of Secondary Emails makes it easier for Sellers to find the correct Vendor and helps prevent duplicate Vendor profiles.

Useful Secondary Emails can include:

  • other role-based company inboxes;

  • staff addresses used with clients;

  • older or alternative business addresses;

  • a personal/private address that has genuinely been used in business correspondence — for example, if you once replied to a client from your phone without noticing that your private email account was active.

Only add addresses that genuinely identify or have been used for this same business.

Do not deliberately repeat the Primary Email as a Secondary Email.

You can add or remove Secondary Emails later.

About us

Write a short, useful description of the business.

Keep it concise, readable and useful. The Vendor profile is not intended to replace your own website.

Do not repeat phone numbers, email addresses or other contact details in About us. The public profile already shows your business contact information and a link to your website.

Use this section to help Buyers quickly understand who you are and what you do.

Company Tag Line

Add one short sentence that characterizes the business.

It appears prominently beneath the Vendor branding on the public profile.

Categories

Choose all service categories that genuinely apply to the business.

The available categories include services such as:

  • Packages

  • Venues

  • Catering

  • Photo/Video

  • Entertainment

  • Florists

  • Wedding Planner

  • Honeymoon

You can select more than one category where appropriate.

Company logo and profile image

When creating a Vendor for the first time, save the Vendor first.

After the Vendor has been created, return to Edit Vendor to add:

  • Company logo — the business logo shown on the public Vendor profile;

  • Company profile image — a square image used as the Vendor avatar/business image in the dashboard and other parts of the platform.

These are separate because a wide or rectangular logo may not work well in a square avatar.

Public profile vanity handle

Your public profile vanity handle becomes the identifying part of the Vendor's public profile URL.

The same handle is used for the Vendor profile on CanceledWeddings.com and Orystra.

Use your actual business name or a clear, recognizable variation of it.

Do not use the handle as an SEO keyword field or fill it with generic search terms. That provides no meaningful benefit here and is likely to fail Orystra's later handle review.

Orystra may remove handles that are unsuitable, misleading, overly generic, keyword-stuffed or inconsistent with the actual Vendor business. Removed handles may be placed on a blocked or reserved list.

Check whether the handle is available

Enter the handle and select Check availability.

If the handle is available, the page confirms this.

If Dream Weddings is already taken and that is your real business name, you could try a clearer business-name variation such as Dream Weddings Texas or Dream Weddings Austin Texas.

If Check availability does not activate immediately after typing, click once anywhere outside the input field and try again. The current interface may need the field to lose focus before it recognizes the new value.

Review your public profile

After the Vendor has been created, use the public-profile view to check how the business information appears.

If something is unclear, incomplete or visually weak, return to Edit Vendor and update it.

The public Vendor profile is a trust and opportunity layer around your participation on the platform. It does not replace your own website.

Managing more than one Vendor

One user account can manage multiple Vendor businesses.

Use Act as this vendor under Managed business entities to switch which Vendor you are currently acting for.

At present, each Vendor can have only one Company administrator. Team accounts and multiple administrators for one Vendor are not yet supported.

Can I delete a Vendor?

A newly created Vendor can be deleted while nothing meaningful on the platform depends on it.

Once listings, deals or other platform activity depend on that Vendor, it can no longer be treated as a disposable profile.
