When you take over an event through a Transfer, you pay the Seller for the agreed prepaid value and you also take responsibility for any amounts that are still due to the Vendors.

Those remaining Vendor payments stay governed by the relevant Vendor terms, unless you and the Vendor agree something different.

The Seller’s asking price is only one part of the overall deal.

For example, part of a Vendor service may already have been paid by the Seller, while another part is still due later. The prepaid part can form part of the value you are taking over, but the unpaid balance still belongs to the Vendor.

So before you make an Offer, you should look at the whole picture:

The detailed payment position is part of the deal information available in the DealRoom and captured in the Deal Specification.

That means you can review the paid and remaining amounts before deciding whether the deal makes sense for you.

You and the Vendor can agree changes, additional services or different terms if you both want to.

If those changes are intended to form part of the Transfer, they should be clearly agreed and reflected in the deal information before the Transfer is approved.
